Our presenter
Elizabeth Causton is a palliative care social worker and educator who has worked in the field for over 30 years. Fourteen of those years were spent at Victoria Hospice, where she worked as a clinical counselor on the community crisis team. She also spent many years working with research teams at the University of Victoria and continues to offer seminars and workshops both locally and across Canada on a variety of topics related to improving end of life care across all healthcare settings. As a strong advocate for ongoing education for healthcare assistants, nurses, and family caregivers, Elizabeth also continues to present webinars and podcasts and write blogs for lifeanddeathmatters.ca.
