Our presenter

Samuel Cervantes (he/him) is a Certified Disability Management Professional and Certified Consensus-Based Disability Management Auditor having spent the last 12 years in diverse workplace health & safety roles. He has facilitated workshops and led training on the Early Intervention & Return to Work efforts for employers across the province. Sam holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and a Master of Health Administration from UBC and is a part-time sessional instructor supporting the continuous education of current and aspiring disability management professionals. Among his many unearned privileges, he is grateful to his parents for immigrating from the Philippines to the territories of the Coast Salish people, where he is building a life with his partner and two young children in East Van.
