Why Civility Matters – Now More Than Ever
Working in healthcare can be a challenge at the best of times, however, working during a pandemic has introduced unparalleled layers of stress and anxiety into our long-term care workplaces.
Are we seeing workplace incivility heightened as a result of COVID-19? If so, why does that matter? How do we recognize incivility? How might we be contributing to it? And, most importantly, what can we do about it?
In this webinar, we examine incivility in its various forms, from a front-line and research perspective. We explore a variety of strategies for addressing (in)civility and focus on the vital role of kindness, courage, and self-care in creating psychologically safe and healthy workplaces.
