COVID-19 Fears & Anxieties for Continuing Care and Frontline Workers
COVID-19 is a major concern for many, with continuing care and frontline workers being among those most impacted. Not only do they have to worry about their own health, but they also have to worry about the health of the vulnerable populations that they are serving and in contact with. In this session, attendees will learn about the various ways in which stress and anxiety can manifest, including burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and moral distress. Attendees will gain useful skills that can help them manage their stress and increase their ability to communicate and function during this most unusual time for the healthcare system and our society.
