Our Shot: Vaccinating B.C.
Vancouver, B.C., March 8, 2021 – CBC British Columbia will be holding a free, virtual public town hall called Our Shot: Vaccinating B.C. on March 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to answer questions such as:
- How do we know that it’s safe and effective?
- Who will notify me when it’s my turn to get the vaccine?
- How will remote communities get the vaccine?
- After getting the vaccine, will life go back to the way it was before?

The event will be hosted by CBC Vancouver’s Anita Bathe and Stephen Quinn. Panelists include:
- Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer, B.C.
- Honourable, Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, B.C.
- Dr. Shannon McDonald, Acting Chief Medical Officer, First Nations Health Authority
- Dr. Victoria Lee, CEO, Fraser Health Authority
- Mahesh Nagarajan, Professor, UBC Sauder School of Business
What:
British Columbians are invited to take part in a COVID-19 public town hall on CBC TV, CBC Radio, Facebook, CBC Gem and cbc.ca/bc. They can also follow the conversation on social media with the hashtag #cbcourshot. A recording of the town hall will be made available on Facebook and CBC Gem after the event.
