Ask Me Anything: Expert Q&A on COVID-19 Vaccination for Continuing Care Workers
Sold Out. If interested in a recording of the webinar, please email info@careforcaregivers.ca
In December, SafeCare BC ran a vaccination attitudes survey for BC’s continuing care sector. This revealed that—as those first in line to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in British Columbia—some frontline care workers are feeling anxiety about the process and would like more access to credible information on the topic.
To support this, SafeCare BC, through Care for Caregivers, is offering an expert Q&A webinar with Dr. Manish Sadarangani. Dr. Sadarangani is an infectious disease specialist; an Assistant Professor at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine; and head of the Vaccine Evaluation Centre at BC Children’s Hospital, where he leads research to build an evidence base for local, national, and international vaccine policy.
Dr. Sadarangani will address some of the common concerns raised in SafeCare BC’s vaccination attitudes survey, and participants will have an opportunity to submit questions in advance or ask them in person.
